The hot days of summer are here! We’re wearing our favorite shorts, making dinner on the grill and serving a few of our favorite summer cocktails. Need other ideas for keeping cool? Why not make ice-cream, or throw a Peach and Goat Cheese pizza on the grill or lounge indoors with your most comfortable pair of pants and a good book? Cheers to a freedom-filled summer! We love the simplicity of margaritas: simple syrup, lime juice, and tequila. These always make one of the best party drinks and is a crowd favorite for summer cocktails!
We’re seeing a theme here with the simple (to make!) drink recipes. This one took us less than 10 minutes to put together and we love that the recipe uses in-season fruit. This is the perfect make-ahead party drink! We had quite a few raspberries and cherries we needed to use quickly, so we added them to the pitcher as well. It made for a beautiful display!
We cannot get enough of mint or peaches in the summer — and this margarita recipe has both! We tried a few varieties of peaches in the recipe and found that white peaches make the prettiest drinks, but feel free to use yellow peaches if that’s all that you can find!
We always have bourbon in the house. And this summer cocktail was a fun, new recipe to share with our friends — especially those who don’t consider themselves “bourbon drinkers.” The hardest part is pitting the cherries, but this is easy to do ahead of time and keep cool until ready to serve.
