Tall or Not Too Tall, That is the Question

This is my second pair of Anju Full and my third pair of Sudara punjammies. I love them but have found the rayon, which I prefer, shrink. My first pair of punjammies were my favorites. They were black and had white irregular, bean-shaped spots but I bought the small and eventually they were capri length. I’ve never seen the print since then but I’d love if they came back. The second time, I purchased the Small Tall in the Anju Full and they were too long but after many washings they shrunk up. Eventually they we the right length. That pair wore out, not because of inferior fabric or stitchings — I just wore them. This time, I purchased the tall again and they’re REALLY long. I’m baffled about what happens to rayon even when you wash it even according to instructions — gentle cycle, cold, hang dry. Maybe my current pair will shrink up and fit just right too. I’d love to know why the shrinkage is extreme with the rayon pieces and how to purchase the right size. The hip and leg roominess is a plus. I like loose-fitting lounge wear.
